Lion Roars entered two teams into the Corporate Ironman competition on Sunday 25 April: an Elite team and a Vets team. The teams were made up as follows:
Lion Roars Elite – Paul Vosloo (swim) , Andrew Young (cycle), Redmer Van Dobbenbergh (run)
Lion Roars Vets – Brian Bailey (swim), Pete Allanson (cycle), Colette Myburgh (run)
The Lion Roars Elites came 17th overall in a field of over 300 and the Lion Roars Vets came 78th. This was a great team show and thanks to all who were involved and supported.
(Of course the surprise for the Vets was that they were beaten by approx 9 minutes by the Elites on the day. They think this may have been fixed...)
