Lion Roars hosted a fun filled Sabrina Love Golf Day on Friday 19th October. The day was a great success, attracting 132 golfers and generating in excess R45 000. The full proceeds will be donated to Sabrina Love, the Foundation that that cares for children with special needs.Sabrina Love children were present at registration and on the course to greet and interact with golfers, it was a wonderful sight to see.

Through the generosity of our sponsors, each player and helper were given a shirt and cap. It was an amazing sight to see everyone dressed in black and pink, the colours of the two foundations. Fun was had by all with participating sponsors providing stimulating interaction with the players,with the offer of refreshments, wagers and inventive prizes.

The two foundations agreed that it was a very successful and most worthwhile combination and it will be repeated annually! Next year will be on Sunday 22 September 2013, and it will a full day’s event.
