This challenge is our shared challenge and we are committed to continued service and safety in the weeks ahead.
The safety of our people and you, our valued clients, is our greatest priority. We are working closely with official health and safety guidelines to monitor the situation in our country and are guided by the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) as well as the World Health Organisation and the Department of Health in our approach.
The President last week provided more detail on the actions being taken by government to stop the spread of this virus and the role that business needs to play in protecting our communities.

Firstly, our people have been empowered with relevant information and guided on personal hygiene and preventative measures in all our conference and office facilities. We have provided hand sanitisers at reception and in all public WC facilities. Our people are also exercising heightened personal protection measures such as frequent handwashing, use of hand sanitiser, and have been requested to avoid hand-shakes and any touch greetings both amongst the team and with clients. In addition to our normal thorough daily cleaning schedule, we have implemented a strict additional twice-daily cleaning schedule of all high touch points such as reception desk, door handles, intercom buttons, light switches and public washroom facilities.
In our Head Office, we have increased the frequency of cleaning in high traffic areas and hand sanitisers have been distributed throughout. We have also implemented a work from home strategy enabled by our remote access systems technology, which allows us to continue core services and management functions uninterrupted. We have ceased all international employee business travel, and all non-essential domestic employee business travel and have strongly advised against personal employee domestic travel. We have also mandated a 14-day self-quarantine / remote work requirement for any employee who has travelled overseas.
Should a confirmed case of Coronavirus present in our business we have a plan in place that guides our response, based on the advice of the NICD.
Our conference facilities are open for business and we are dedicated to ensuring they continue to be a safe place for you to meet productively to achieve your business goals.
