The Joy Of Giving With Santa Shoebox Project

Santa Shoebox Project is a Non-Profit Organization running an inspiring community initiative. The organization invests time and resources to uplift and empower the socially disadvantaged youth while encouraging parents to teach their own children the joy of giving. The project distributes gifts for underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia. In 12 years the project has reached 762 594 children and aiming to reach one million by 2019. What a milestone! 

The success of the Project is profoundly be attributed to its personal nature – donors give gifts to children whose names, ages and genders are known and is also supported by an extensive network of volunteers and corporate sponsors who pledge monetary or pro bono support. Donors will stand a chance to win an Experience Gift while the volunteers will stand to win a 5* Secret Getaway. This year, Santa Shoebox Project, in partnership with Secret Getaway,  celebrate the Joy of Giving and Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges is pleased to be part of this amazing project. This year, we are sponsoring a Gift Experience and a 5* Secret Getaway at our beautiful and recently revamped, Bukela Game Lodge.
